The City of Centennial business owners and residents are looking for better, more sustainable alternatives to “business as usual.” And small businesses that embrace the collaborative spirit find themselves in a better position to compete with their larger counterparts. This is why Colorado Vault & Safe Deposit Box Company and Arapahoe Credit Union have joined together to offer the 1st Annual Centennial Shred Day.
These two organizations that offer different but complimentary services are organizing a shred day not only to help reduce waste and promote recycling but also to help Newton Middle School student programs. The document shred is free to all but optional donations will be taken. Electronic recycling will also be provided however a small fee will be charged for TV’s.
What to shred:
Bank Statements, Tax Returns, Invoices, Credit Card Offers, Sensitive Documents containing personal information
(Please remove from binders and binder clips; paper clips are ok)
What not to shred:
Phonebooks, Junk Mail, Newspapers, and other non-sensitive paperwork
Electronics Recycling
Toasters, Hair Dryers, Computers, Cellular Phones, Chargers, and etc….
TV’s and Monitors – $1 per inch
Please No refrigerators, freezers or stoves
